Dennis Palmer discovered that a Raspberry Pi running Elixir and Nerves can do the exact same things. Inspired by classic robotics he designed and printed Wobbles, a self balancing two wheel robot programmed entirely via Livebook. In this session we will see a practical demo of bringing Wobbles to life. We will explore how to use binary pattern matching in a GenServer to read sensor data and gently control the motors.
